Pass Plus
Pass Plus is a training scheme for new drivers.  The aim is to improve your driving skills and make you a safer driver.

Pass Plus is more then just a few more driving lessons.  It will give you further driving experience under expert tuition on how to deal with situation you may not have faced before such as driving in adverse conditions such as rain, snow and ice. driving in the dark and motorway driving

Insurance companies recognise the real need for new drivers, and in particular, young drivers to demonstrate that they have the correct attitude and skills to be a safe driver.  By taking a Pass Plus course and achieving a necessary level of skill during the 6 modules, you can be rewarded with discounts on car insurance from a growing number of insurance companies.

Pass Plus consists of a minimum of 6 hours training with the emphasis on improving your driving skills and a positive approach to driving. 

Two key factors make up a positive approach to driving -

• Assessing what you have seen
• Making decisions
• Taking the right action.

The six modules that you will cover are –

1. Intrduction and Town Driving
2. All Weather condition
3. Out of Town and Rural Driving
4. Night Driving
5. Dual Carriageways
6. Motorways

There is no exam at the end however you have to demonstrate that you have achieved a satisfacory level of achievment in all of the 6 modules.

Ian McNeilL Driver Training will cover all six modules at times to meet your needs and this can be several sessions over a period of time or completed in 1 day.   Grants may be available to reduce your cost of Pass Plus.
